Words don’t come easily…

Denny: So, you wrote her?

Alan: Yes, I did!

Denny: What did she say? You said she answered.

Alan: Well, she wrote back, not much of course. But she said, we could of course have a talk together!

Denny: And, did you talk to her, yet?

Alan: No, I, he, don’t get the chance to meet her alone. It is quite complicated.

Denny: And why is that?

Alan: Well, first of all, she is hanging out with her friends all the time.

Denny: And secondly?

Alan: A friend of mine, let’s call him Ron, does not seem to like her.

Denny: But I would like her!

Alan: Yes, you would!

Denny: Then listen to me, talk to her! I am your friend, too, Alan!

Alan: And a good friend you are! Yeah, I really should talk to her! If only I would find the right words…

Denny: She wouldn’t have answered you, if she did not want to talk to you. So it really doesn’t matter what you say, as long as you say something! Cheers, Alan!

Alan: Cheers, Denny!

At the station!

Alan: You know, it is very interesting beeing at the train station.

Denny: And why is that?

Alan: Everytime I sit there and wait for my train, I see all these people!

Denny: Democrats?

Alan: Hehe, yeah, maybe some of them. Anyway, I see all these different people and all of them have something in common. They all seem to be happy!

Denny: Maybe they are all on some drug!

Alan: They surely are! All of them are going in pairs of man and woman, all have there boy- and girlfriends. There you see someone who is fetched by someone who cares for him. There you see people with flowers for the ones they love… Denny, I miss all these things!

Denny: You want to give me flowers?

Alan: No, I mean, I want to be cared for, and I want someone I can care for. Someone, who wants to share her life with me, that I can share my life with. Even, if I am working all day! Someone, who gives me new energy, when I’m down.

Denny: So, you would change our talk at the end of each episode for that?

Alan: Not at all! But we are talking once a week. I need someone for the rest of the week!

Denny: So what about your love interest?

Alan: I tried the calssic way and wrote her!

Denny: You did? And, what happened?

Alan: Well, she answered! But, I think we should talk about that, in the next episode.

Denny: Yeah, same place!

Alan: Same whiskey!

In love? Part 2

Denny: Talked to her yet?

Alan: No, I am not sure, if I should do it.

Denny: Why not? I thought you like her.

Alan: It was just a brief moment. She walked up the stairs, I was behind. Suddenly she turned half around, focused me with the corner of her eye and smiled.

Denny: She wasn’t laughing about you?

Alan: I don’t think so. But it was this moment, that I felt sure, that this woman is special. At least to me!

Denny: You should do something fast! You know how things go in this law firm. If you don’t act fast, someone else gets her!

Alan: Hehe, someone like you?

Denny: No, I would never do that to my friend. Why, do you think she would like me?

In love?

Alan: You know, I think I’m in love.

Denny: You, in love? Not thinking about getting married, do you?

Alan: I don’t think she even noticed me.

Denny: Everyone would notice you. Well, maybe not if I were standing beside you. Who is she, anyway?

Alan: You know the new girl at Crane, Pool & Schmidt? She is an angel!

Denny: Talked to her?

Alan: Not yet, for the first time in my life, I am missing the right words.

Denny: Just do it! I would do it!

Alan: I don’t want to spoil this one!

Denny: You have no other choice. If you like her, you have to tell her. That’s how it works! And if you are not finding the right words, just do as I do and say: Denny Crane!

Alan: I am sure, that will do the thing!

Life

Alan: Hello Denny!

Denny: Ah, Alan! Quite a night, eh? How was your case?

Alan: You know, I love the courtroom, but I really ask myself if that is all. Why, can’t I have a normal life?

Denny: You are a good lawyer, second best only to Denny Crane! Famous people have no normal life. Look at me, everyone nows me, everyone loves me! So what can be wrong with your life?

Alan: Sometimes I think I don’t have one!

Denny: Is it too much work?

Alan: No, but I think something is missing there.

Denny: Something or someone?

Alan: Hmm, sometimes I feel lonley, Denny!

Denny: Well, you have me!

Alan: I know, Denny. But there are things, that even you can’t give me.

Denny: I’m not having sex with you!

Alan: Hehe, I know.
